Testimonial questions that get answers you can publish

"How was your experience?" gets you "great!". These 25 questions get you the before state, the real number and the quotable line. Copy them, or let CasePruve ask them for you inside one link.

Results, get the numbers

One real figure does more selling than three paragraphs of praise. Ask for it directly.

What changed in the numbers after we worked together?

What result are you most comfortable sharing publicly?

How long did that take, from start to result?

What did this replace, and what did that old way cost you?

If you had to put one number on the outcome, what would it be?

What can you do now that you could not do before?

Story, get the before and after

A case study without a starting point reads like an advert. Anchor it.

What was the situation before we started?

What had you already tried that did not work?

What was the moment you decided to get help?

What surprised you about the process?

What would have happened if nothing had changed?

What do you tell colleagues when they ask how it went?

Objections, answer the doubts

Your next client has the same doubts this one had. Let a peer answer them.

What almost stopped you from hiring me?

What were you most worried about before we started?

Was there a moment you doubted it would work? What happened?

How did the cost compare to what you expected to get back?

What would you say to someone who thinks they can do this alone?

Referral, get the qualification

Let your happiest client describe exactly who should hire you next.

Who should hire me, and when is the right moment?

Who is this not for?

What kind of problem should someone have before they call me?

If a friend described their situation to you, what would make you say 'you need to talk to my person'?

Would you hire me again? For what?

Deliverables, name the work

Future buyers need to recognise their own project in the testimonial.

What exactly did I deliver for you?

Which part of the work made the biggest difference?

What did you get that you were not expecting?

How was working with me different from what you expected?

Four rules before you send anything

Ask one question at a time

A wall of ten questions gets abandoned. Show one, let them answer, then the next. Completion rates roughly double.

Let them talk, don't make them type

A two-minute voice note produces three times the usable material of a typed answer, and the words are theirs, not ChatGPT's.

Never invent a number

If the client did not give a figure, do not ask AI to guess one. One invented number destroys every true one next to it.

Get consent in writing

The client approves when they submit, and you approve before publishing. Keep the consent record with the testimonial.

Common questions

Or let CasePruve ask them for you

One link, five questions, answers by text or voice note. Then a case study, an X thread and a quote card, ready to publish.
